Mary Stillman is the Founder of Hawthorn Leadership School for Girls, an all-girls charter public school in North St. Louis that opened in August 2015. In the school’s early years, Mary served as the school’s Executive Director and also led the Hawthorn Leadership School Foundation, raising funds to support the work of Hawthorn School. More recently, Mary completed training in leadership coaching through Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership and has launched a leadership and career coaching practice — Third Mountain Coaching, LLC.
She holds a B.A. from Princeton University and a J.D. from Yale Law School. Mary serves on the Boards of Trustees of Washington University, the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, Hawthorn Leadership School for Girls, Hawthorn Leadership School Foundation, the St. Louis Community Foundation and december literary magazine.
Mary is a member of the International Coaching Federation, the St. Louis ICF Chapter.
